People blog for many reasons; to share what they love and
enjoy, to tell people about their life or job or company, or to
make money. Blogging is easy; easy to set up, easy to
customize and easy to maintain. Once you learn the
basics, you can do almost anything with a blog.
Blogs, or weblogs, started as personal journals that people
kept online for themselves and to share. Now there are
millions and millions of blogs on every conceivable topic and
subject utilizing many platforms from Wordpress to Blogger and
anything and everything in between.
Have you always wanted to blog but never knew where or how
to get started?
Well, I'm going to help you out whether you want to blog
just for the fun of it or to make money with it.
One of the very first things you need to learn to do is to
set up a blog. There are many blogging platforms out
there but my own personal preference is Wordpress hosted on
your on domain and that's what I am going discuss here.
We'll go over everything from getting a domain name and
webhost to actually installing a Wordpress blog. It's not
that tough and there's plenty of video tutorials to help you
along your way so let's have some fun and get started!!
